About NWL-2020

Welding is the core of modern technology and it has gone through a complete evolution today.Increased FDI equity inflow in India has contributed to the rise in projects in industries.It is almost a cliche to say India is sitting on a demographic dividend.With tremendous raise in working-age population,a clear national goal has been established to skill and re-skill 500 million Indians by 2022.

National Welding Leage is an initiative to meet representation of women welders in skill development,killing social ills and misconceptions that welding is not "feminie" and thus "out of bounds" for the good traditional woman engineer.

Keeing in view a huge response of about 120 student women welders from pan India in 2019. NWL 2020 competition is designed in accordance to World Skills criteria to test your skills in the three main,manual fusion processes.Apart from this it will also indicate a student's determination to succeed in a welding fabrication contest and in welding related career.

The competition will be accompanied by Exhibition,Hands on Practice in Simulator,Robotic Welding and Demonstration of latest Welding Technologies for Automotive and Heavy Industries and lecture sessions on "Recent trends in Welding Industries" by eminent professionals from Industries.
